Hi, my name is Kerrie. I am very excited to bring Powertex to Western Australia’s Midwest.
I have always loved drawing. Studied art at High School, then completed Fashion Teacher’s Certificate at East Sydney Technical College. Taught night classes at Tafe, then Primary School Craft Teaching in Sydney’s Western suburbs for a few years. Was a Hobbytex Fabric painting demonstrator, and designed and made a few large hand tufted rugs using continuous wool on hessian base. I married and had three children whose rooms I decorated with hand painted murals. For many years I taught adult community craft classes. Late 2010 painted an underwater mural on my future grandson’s room, then October 2011 began my own business “Designa Mural”.  In February 2012 I completed my training with Ashley Bowley in Perth, Australian Importer of Powertex. Wow what a weekend! There is so much you can do with this amazing product! I am looking forward to introducing this wonderful medium to people across the Midwest.
