Ashley Bowley: Importer, Distributer & Master Trainer

Picture

Ashley
has been involved in the Visual Arts from a very young age, completing a Fine Arts Degree, with a Painting Major and Sculpture Minor, at Curtin University in 1988 and a Diploma of Education, at WACAE, in 1989. Since this time Ashley has had many exhibitions, entered competitions, taught art and ran adult workshops. Now as the Importer and Distributer for Powertex in Australia, Ashley wishes to share her excitement about this amazing product with others!

For a short time, Ashley used resin to embed objects and create texture in her painting. She loved the results, but quickly abandoned it’s use, as she found the fumes and the toxic nature of the product to be prohibitive in the creative process. Therefore, when Ashley was first introduced to Powertex, at the beginning of 2011, she became extremely excited about the possibilities of using it in her artwork and has been experimenting with it ever since!  Finding it easy to use, appreciating its weather resistant properties and enjoying the results, Ashley has become a great advocate for Powertex. Becoming the Importer and Distributer of Powertex in Australia seemed like a natural step. Ashley  now wants to "spread the word" about Powertex which she uses extensively in her own work and has  quickly grown to love!

Qualified in Cert IV Training and Assessment, Ashley is well equipped to help others discover a love of art and their own potential in her workshops. She invites you to discover your Inner Artist with Powertex at workshops around Australia....

Ashley exhibits her artwork in her maiden name, Ashley Hay.
